I didn't reply on someone's comment. Offcourse you may have missed that, as you are now missing difference between a studio recording and a live performance.

Was your opinion given by request? I find this recording rather lackluster - Pt.Mukherjee sounds like he's going through the motions on this. He has a better studio version on one of his CD's.

This is one of the best rendition of Raag Kaafi I have heard so far on Sitar. Anybody knows if it is available on CD/DVD?
