Dean & Jo Tribute - Ocean Wide - Supernatural

This is a non-linear music video about the relationship between Dean and Jo on "Supernatural," and how they are separated by death. We really wanted to get inside of Dean's head. The ocean is both literally how deep their love is for each other and the barrier between heaven and earth, I guess you could say! We know it's depressing, but we also wanted it to have a hopeful feeling. Since we're total romantics, we'll imagine that they'll "make it" together on "the other side." Love can conquer anything, even death! Well anyway, enjoy! We had to make this video because we love Dean and Jo, and we loved episode 5.10.

Wow. I'm not gonna lie, that really made me cry.

I've only ever managed to watch Abandon All Hope twice, because it is literally the most heartbreaking episode of Supernatural to day, imo, and just watching those little clips just broke me!

Ellen saying 'kick it in the ass' did it, I was a little emotional, but when she said that, knowing it was Kim Manners' catchphrase... I was gone lol. It's funny how the lines between reality & Supernatural blur like that sometimes, for me anyway.

Oh, my God. I love this so much. I'm sorry for comparing this to Vampire diaries but Dean and Jo's lovestory reminds me of Klaus and Caroline's. The big bad hunter/vamp falling for the small, adorable, undeniably tough younger hunter/vamp.

I've always said that she is the only girl Dean could have had a real life with. Someone who is a hunter like him, who understands him fully and who isn't weak - she's the only (human) girl who's had a personality to speak of in the entire show. They were so great whenever they were together, I really miss her...
