@Bumin552 Thoreau's marvelous experiment at Walden notwithstanding, perhaps the love-truth dichotomy is false. The same might be said of opposing faith and truth, or fairness and truth. What is truth out of the context of love, considering a relational epistemology? Thanks for bringing Thoreau to the conversation. Concerning money & fame, perhaps Thoreau was entirely correct. I'm not sure whether his or Kierkegaard's abandonment of the other is advisable, however, at least in the long run..
