Even though the California Supreme Court upheld Prop 8 and same-sex couples can no longer marry, we won't back down.

I believe the only marriage that should be allowed is between a man and a woman. For religious reasons which can be ruled out along with the whole you should be able to marry whoever you love. Cause in that case I have a friend who really loves his dog and if you want "TRUE" equality of marriage then he has to be allowed to marry his dog, first cousin need to be allowed to marry for true equality and oh yeah polagamy needs to come back.

@MadameGaul Because it's not a "sanctimonious, pious" act for everyone, only the ignorant. To these people it is a civil, secular ceremony. Separation of the church and state seems to be something the devout alwys neglect

@avalonjoyous There is no such thing as "gay marriage" per say since "being gay" in itself is an abomination how can you possibly justify to queers of either sex "getting married"!

@Mesmyle civil unions are at a state level. marriage is at a fedral level. so being in a civl union is worthless outside the state it was granted in or states that support that form of civil union. also in the applied states it does not give as many rights and protections to the couple

Marriage should be the bond between two people in love. It wouldn't matter. How would a straight person feel if someone or something was in their way of love? I may love a guy(i am a girl) but it's ruining love for other people. Love is love.

Why is it so hard for people to just gant these folk the right to one another in the same way others have it?
Your holy books say one thing, follow them... Let the others follow their own. After all, you don't truely know who was right until the very end.
