California Assembly Approves Historic Health Care Reform Pla

California's health care system, and the people who need it, may be on the way to a healthier future. Democrats in the California State Assembly, led by Speaker Fabian Núñez, have approved Assembly Bill 1X1, the Health Care Reform and Cost Control Act. Speaker Núñez says AB 1X1 will fundamentally change the way health care is delivered and slow down the rising cost of health care. As we learn in this Assembly Web Report, the Health Care Reform and Cost Control Act may pave the way for other states, and perhaps the nation, to create more efficient and equitable health care everyone.
