http://www.denttime.com Since I have been in the (PDR) paintless dent repair industry, the development and innovation of lighting has come a long way. Portability, weight and efficiency seem to be the main stream of the new PDR lights. And added to those benefits are now LED lighting. My latest review will be about some common PDR light stands, LED reflections and even a cordless LED light option. So join me as I share my findings and hope you find this review interesting. Here are the links to PDR tool companies.

  • Awesome review. I didn't plan to spend any more money on PDR toys but as I saw this review I realize I want one. I am glad for honest non salesy review and comparison of few lights instead of trying to push products to sale. Great job Myke, I am sure I am not only one who like this review and I hope we will see more like this in future.

I decided for PDR small light, when I saw you dropping that light on flor and nothing happen I was sold.

I have one question. how long they last?

  • @davidlector Thanks David. The LED's I was told will last up to 6-10 years! If you don't abuse it like I do.

  • Mike I seen a prototype of the cordless LED Light which Anthony had when chatting with him in NC. They definitely went over and beyond their prototype when completeting the final product. Thanks' for the video!

  • @GLASSTIME2011 No problem. Glad you liked it. I love all my PDR LED's! Techs are going to have a hard time choosing because there is no bad choice to be made. A tech will just have to decide which light fits best for their repair environment.

  • Any advice on a good glue pull system for a newbie like me. I don't want ever bell and whistle, just some good tabs, glue, and gun. There are a lot of choices, was looking for a little help. I have been working in a body shop for long enough now, looking to get the same results without getting all dirty and poisoned from all the chemicals.

  • @MrAdamseye ebay carries cheap ones but you get what you pay for. Ultra Dent Tools, Blehm, PDR Gear and Dent Craft have beyond decent and affordable glue pull systems.

  • HI Myke

I´m looking to buy some tools at propdrsolution but the site is not working , could you help me ?

do you know what is going on?

    thank you Myke

  • Myke, I'm looking for a suction cup light to use for cross lighting my top panels as well as something I can load up easily for mobile calls. I will be using it to cross light with my Ultra 12v non led light. I'm thinking the PDR Pro Solutions one because I would like one that would work well outside as well but I would like one that's a little longer for cross lighting. Also ready to retire the inventure. Thanks for any input Myke!

    Charles

  • best tool you can have!

  • Do you do the lines on the light cover yourself or do you buy them done and if you do them is there a specific distance between the lines?

  • @alextnog No problem. Have fun with your new light.
