The guy driving the Nissan needs to be removed from the instructor group. He clearly has no clue about driving and no situational awareness regarding what is going on around him. At the same time the Vette driver could have helped himself by staying square in the Nissans rear view mirror instead of off to the side.
@Porschephile5 What? It's a drivers job to know faster cars have the right of way. At these events its a courtesy to let someone overtake who's on your tail because almost always you're just holding him up and he is faster than you. There's no sense in battling it out and wrecking equipment.
Actually, most HPDE run groups require a point-by from the driver being passed. The vette driver is simply getting frustrated from the driver in front not giving one. And, quite frankly, having driven quite a few road courses in the eastern half of the USA I must say the vette drivers, as a whole, know how to drive. They have to since the cars have more power than most other marques on the track.
