Andrew Lloyd Webber: Pie Jesu , from Requiem (1985) - piano solo version

This piece has been recorded by Sarah Brightman, Charlotte Church, Katherine Jenkins, Jose Carreras and many others. The piano version is derived from the arrangement in the 1988 'Andrew Lloyd Webber Piano Solos' album published by the Really Useful Group. The arrangements, by Frank Booth, are little more than straight reductions of the existing piano vocal versions, so I have filled out the textures occasionally. Actually, I think that this works much better as a piano solo than the show extracts in the book.
