  • I ask all you tories to have some respect for the dead. I abhor violence, especially against non military. The point is that these men died for what they believe. And not an easy way to go at that. I hope that progress can be made toward a unified Ireland without further senseless bloodshed.

Look out boy the "ninnies" are coming for you!

    RUN FORREST RUN BOY!

  • @curtejay You're not wrong. Pretty stupid to imagine that anyone who mattered in the establishment would give a shit when they organised the capital punishment they deserved for themselves. They didn't give a toss about their innocent victims, who had no choice in their fate.

So why would anyone care when a terrorist voluntarily chooses to die? Probably the only useful thing they ever did in their lives.

  • @Myhugeship There is no need for violence when you have democracy, these IRA men were part of an organisation that put bombs in shopping centres and blew up innocent men women and children, no different to Al- Qeada.

  • @curtejay They were brave but not stupid curt! Margaret Thetcher pushed them to limit and there only way the world would listen is if they gave up their lives however Margaret wouldn't approve of their request! so they were not stupid they are hero's who will be remembered forever!

  • hunger stikers went brave they were stupid
