@sharzady um i found from watching free hand mehndi's vidieo that if u use regular granulated sugar in ur henna it not only helps it glide thru the henna cone but it also prevernts the henna frum drying too fast. i hope that helps u

thanks B!!!...! but i've notice that the henna releases the color perfect in my hair, I mean, i get the color i want... but besides the "expiration date" or the fact that its not too fresh, the stain in my skin would be acceptable? or it won't work??
I recently bought some henna in Iran, a friend told me it was perfect for tattoo I use it for my hair aslo, but i just notice with this video that my henna paste never got green, always kind of brown.... and i don't use the oil... is that veeery important? or is enoug with the oil of the pepper and cinnamon etc etc etc???

If your henna did not start out green then turn a deeper green it was likely not very fresh. The powder does have a expiry/shelf life. The powder will stay good for some months...but in hot humid environment that period is considerably shorter. The tea tree oil kicks the dye production up a notch. I always use it ...but no it is not absolutely necessary.
Hope this helps :)

If your in the United States you get a 2oz bottle by Spring Valley at Walmart or in the vitamin section of most grocery stores, you can also find a 1 oz bottle by Sundown at the grocery, both are medicinal grade Australian tea tree oil will cost between 6 and 8 dollars
