This is a sweet 16 birthday party that I provided service for this past saturday. It was an interesting show that proved to be difficult show to video. The teens had a great time but It was still difficult to get clean footage of this show. I did get permission to video and edited as much as I could.

  • Any pointers you have for ding a sweet 16? I am djing one this weekend and its the first one I've ever done. Great video btw!!!!

  • @MrDjbrownie Hello DJ Brownie, Sweet 16 parties are all about whats hot in music, clothing, and style. If you have your music all in order and can talk to the crowd you will do fine. Keep in mind that their are two types of Sweet 16 parties. The first is the type where mom and dad dont care what is played and will participate in creating the atmosphere in which you are performing in. The second is the more subdued parties where the music is hand picked by parents to avoid any obsenities.

  • Hey Vince, thanks again for watching. I hope it was not too offensive with the video footage. Teenagers these days will dance to anything popular. They were a good group to entertain for and without much microphone talk. Some songs we can play forever and never run out of style.

  • A sweet 16 you say. No comment in Florida you would be surprised of the sweet 16 I have been to and the Parents who do not regulate anything I just try to control the music to he best of my ability to please the crowd and guest.

    As Always amazing performance.

  • Great job, Corey! My problem with sweet 16s or parties for young people is they always want to tell me what songs to play all night long. They only want to hear the latest gangsta rap songs, even the white kids. I see you were able to play oldies like "Baby, Got Back" etc... and they stayed out there dancing. Once again, great job!!!
