@VinceG666 Best idea for a alternative kick pedal i found is setting the pedal that comes with the DD-55 up against a wall or vertical surface and getting a real drum pedal to kick it into the pedal. For double bass, get two.

Or even buy a Roland TD-4. You only get 25 kits in the TD-4 but you can control the muffling and pitch and besides, who needs 50+ electric kits, really?

Not everyone has a couple thousand dollars laying around you know.

Hey how did you record this?
I'm planning to get a MIDI cable to USB with controller, and when I plug it into my PC, can I just start recording? ( With the proper software )

can you set every pad how you want?sorry for my bad english

those Yamaha electronic drum kits.... they sound really bad...
with a little more money (couple thousands $) you could buy a beautiful Roland :) Td-12 or Td-20

Does anyone know where I can get replacement pedals for this model? If been searching forever and Yamaha website offers no help whatsoever.

Nice .. But I hate it when it's not in original order..the hi-hat should be to the left side!
I paid about £60 for it second hand, and yeah you can set the hi-hat pedal as a second kick pedal.

just take it from the headphone/line out output on the drums into the line in on the pc, then set up the camera settings to record sound from line input instead of microphone.
hope that helps.
