  • probably the worst advice you can give someone looking for advice. Should have passive hands through the downswing! They fall, after the lower body rotation and if the tempo of the swing is good, they will get past the ball and the club will strike down (irons) after the hips have already fired through... Best to not think of the hands at all unless you're having trouble squaring up the club face

  • Please dont missunderstand my comment I really like this guy.I even look for him on the "Golf channel" but He's somewhat hard to follow and if his "tips" could be reperduced on the range, great but i think he needs to be there to really show you how it works! kind of "band-aid" advice and POOF! it should work......????

  • @Ramdizzle86 Great advice....Just if I can add one more thing, your hands should be very relaxed (light grip pressure) on the club, this in turn will allow the club head to release thru impact. Too many amateur golfers Grip the club too tightly and this causes them to shank, thin and block shots right (for the right hander). Also your setup should be nice and relaxed to allow no tension in the back swing.

  • I admit im confused by him at times he seems to be introducing different technics?

Im trying his methods and my swing has become worse:( Im told I have very good mechanics and swing tempo, yet I dont really hit it that far and now even less....

  • to the owwwwwt SiDE (voice crack) of the let side

  • I think this video may get people starting to slide their heads way out infront of the ball, causing the dreaded over the top move and creating a super steep downswing plane. The hands and arms must fall in the downswing because of gravity and due to the clearing of the hips. I believe Ben Hogan said the hands get a "free ride" from the top. The hands will travel forward simply if the the player is allowing their body to turn correctly with the weight on the front foot to start the downswing.

  • is he still going thru puberty? his voice is still breaking

  • michael breed is brilliant
