@sniperlif3 The wiki disagrees with you: "Note that the effect of multiple explosions, no matter how simultaneous, on one block is evaluated independently and serially per explosion, and blocks don't have "temporary health" and such properties across explosion history. That means explosions have no cumulative effect on blocks."

@TaviRider So then also tell me how the many many cannons are able to fire blocks/people at different lengths by just changing the amount of TNT stacked in one location. Also as i replied previously, it has been shown that Obsidian is destroyed at about 256 TNT although Notch made it so explosions dont damage Obsidian blocks as per Minecraft wiki, forums, and the coding itself

@Mac15001900 No. Multiple TNT explosions do add damage. There is no block that can survive more than 1 block of TNT. Obsidian can handle around 256 blocks of TNT stacked as per the coding created by Notch. But another coding says that the same Obsidian is unable to take damage from explosions.

@TaviRider I took a look at the Minecraft updates. And yes, Obsidian was able to be destroyed by around 256 (or close around that) blocks of TNT. The current health value of obsidian is just that. But in one of the updates they made it so that Obsidian is invulnerable to explosions. You CAN stack TNT to do more damage to a block but Bedrock and Obsidian was coded to not be affected any longer. Found direct on the Wiki and from a few forums. Ive found.

@Mac15001900 C4 in the Explosives+ mod can break bedrock.
-
@TaviRider no i meant like dig under it to destroy the redstone.
-
@FZZZ135 If you set off lots of TNT at the same time you can break bedrock, I've been able to break through the bottom on a survival map.

@kamilczak020 Well, but.... it is not possible. As Minepedia says, It is a common myth that bedrock can be destroyed by a sufficient quantity of TNT. Examinations of the Minecraft code have shown that multiple explosions do not add damage to blocks; any block that is not destroyed by one TNT immediately adjacent to it will not be destroyed by additional TNT. While bedrock does have a finite damage resistance (18,000,000), there is no explosive in the game which has that much force.
*looks at it* ...hmmm *dig right under it*

@orEmile Through bedrock?

@tavirider
Not only it is possible, but we ( me and few friends ) succeeded many times. It's quite easy when the amount of TNT goes over 3K.. And its not for a single block, but even a 10x10x1 bedrock wall. And with 22K of TNT we managed to almost completely destroy an 50x50 cuboid with triple walls of bedrock. So yes it is possible

@kamilczak020 How did you arrange the TNT? You can't get 3k TNT within range of a single bedrock block. Do you have any video proof?
There's an odd issue that allows a TNT block falling through the bottom of the world and wrapping around to destroy bedrock, but that's a bug.
