Silent? well... I don't talk so much...
Got this Gigabyte GA-GC230D Motherboard with embedded Intel Atom 230 1.6Ghz CPU. Intel® 945GC+ ICH7 chipset and 1Gb ram. It has the Intel GMA 950 Graphics adapter with 8mb shared memory.
Later the 12V-ATX plug created trouble for me, it DID require this plug to boot, even if the low power system did not require it, and my 12V power supply did not have it. So I had to make an adapter with a molex plug, from an old PSU.
Since I have no 12V devices in my system (except for fans) it worked well.
12V PSU did deliver max 2A on the 12V channel (yellow), I have not yet measured the amperage on the 12V rail.
It is beeing used as a print server for a multifunctional printer, but I allso enabled the windows terminal server ability so it makes two or more users able to use RDP, remote desktop, at the same time.
Is this rally a review? I dont know, mybe...

Thx man. I measured the power draw from the 12v line on the power-supply and it was only 160-200 milliamps max (Wo. harddrive). All it does now is run as a print server, and has been running stable all the time. - AND if you plan on putting it in a Morex Cubid 3688/77 mini-itx case, it does not fit, the "northbridge" fan conflicts with the hdd and odd bracket inside. But can fit with a little modification to it. I only use the CF drive now.
