Le mercredi 9 mars, de nombreux flamboyants datant de près de cent ans ont été abattus, à Mon-Choisy. Les habitants de la région expriment leur mécontentement contre le projet de déviation de la route et l'agrandissement de l'hôtel Tarisa Resort.

  • This is an outrage......these magnificent trees have been there for about 100 years and mean a lot for the people who live in the area.....they are much more than trees.....their beautiful blossoms bring joy and happiness in the hearts of Mauritians, meaning that the year is nearly at its end and that it is time to rejoice after working hard all year. These trees are part of our heritage and our folklore and we are all devastated of their demise :(
