5 best mmorpgs 2009 with reasons

5. WarhammerOnline
http://www.warhammeronline.com/

4.FiestaOnline
http://outspark.fiesta.com/

3.AgeOfConanOnline
http://www.ageofconan.com/

2.WorldOfWarcraftOnline
http://www.wow-europe.com/en/index.xml

1.ContinenthOfTheNinthOnline
http://c9.hangame.com/

c9 Contineth of the ninth isnt out yet and has not announced the fee yet. There are awesome graphics and a very rare combat system with comboc and such. A very long viewdistance and detailed suroundings makes this to one of the best looking mmos ever. And flying is also available such as jumpig very high.

wow
Officaly the best mmorpg ever! Over 10 million players and a huge area makes this game to a new reality. Best PvP system ever and weapon skills and reputation system such as many other hidden features makes this to the second best mmo 2009. Would probably have been the best if the graphics would look more real.

aoc
Awesome graphics and running, mount combat, guild castle and much much more makes this game awesome. A huge world with reality based weather. A very spicial combat system which is more interactive than ever before.

fiesta
Fiesta Online is my personal favourite mmorpg! The graphics arent the best but ok. So many features like, housing, guild war, kingdom quest and monster license makes this game even better. Great gameplay and many different ways to PvP.

warhammer
Warhammer has great graphics and a very good PvP system. I like the maps and all the loading screens the discovery system and the log in system. It has a very nice layout and it looks like one of the best mmorpgs ever!

This is the top 10 mmorpg games of another vid! ( not free )

1) World of Warcraft
The best MMORPG yet because WoW mixes the right amount of depth and simplicity better than any other game in the history of the genre.
2) Lord of the Rings Online
One of the most popular MMORPGs that appeals to casual gamers. Plenty of solo content adds to the game's already tremendous mainstream appeal.
3) Eve Online
The best sci-fi MMORPG with player-run corporations and a thriving economy.
4) Final Fantasy XI
The second best fantasy MMORPG after WoW with a quality story, great game play, and large subscriber numbers.
5) City of Heroes/City of Villains - Game Lair
Combined, City of Heroes and City of Villains are easily the second best MMORPG for casual gamers. With the addition of the well-balanced villain types and the use of bases, City of Villains completes the potential that fans have been craving for ever since City of Heroes launched. To top it off, hardcore gamers now also have a reason to like CoH/CoV with its ultra-quick PvP.
6) Warhammer Online
Combines what World of Warcraft got right with PvP that actually feels part of the game world. Warhammer Online could end up being the best MMO for PvP on this list for years to come.
7) Age of Conan
Mature-themed MMO with brutal combat and large-scale warfare. Also has a single-player mode in the first phase of game where each player can wreak havoc at night alone. Has lost a lot of the steam that it once had due to primarily to changes in PVP and lack of solid PvE after level 20.
8) Pirates of the Burning Sea
Deep game where the actions of players really matter in many areas of the game such as the economy, storylines, and PvP.
9) Dark Age of Camelot
Has usually been one the best major MMORPG for PvP combat due to its 3 realm system. Also, DAOC has remained one of the steadiest MMORPGs over the years in terms of quality. However, the game is starting to show its age and other MMOs have incorporated similar or better PvP systems.
10) Tabula Rasa
Innovative sci-fi MMO that combines shooter and RPG elements.

  • @Devilmaycryxx3 no offence but I hope you haven't played Guildwars PvP because you're all wrong, it's one of the most unbalanced PvP games if ur not competing with the best, but i dont blame them; they have almost 100 class combos (inpossible to balance them all).

  • tbh i woudlnt really give WoW the title of the "Best PvP system ever" especially when the developers themselves said that WoW is mainly PvE oriented.

    Is it bad? No

Is it the best? By far not

imo for a game to have the best pvp it needs to be avaliable to everyone with an equal fighting chance no matter how long u developed a character.

Try Guild Wars PvP system, those are the templates for a good system.

only using 8 skills btw = more combination and strategy (tactics, planning, etc

  • guys why am i finding vids talking about top pvp mmorpgs with like terrible ratings?

  • WoW sucks balls. Its been out for too long, its dead. no amount of raising the level cap, and new expansions is gonna change that.

  • wow gets boring,

  • @pauly202 i played about a year stright then quit playing wow beacuse my comp got broken, i just got a new one one month, ago got wow and exp, for it all of them, kept playing and playing not doin anything else, last week i got bored beacuse its the same bunch of shit just over and over all the do is make 2 new toons, and lvl+ 5 and there isint nothing else, just Boring as hell i get tired of people allways saying well this game is nothing like wow blah blah, everyone has a opinion, wow gets

  • I say to everyone bashing wow! go play one of your superior and great "unique" (as you say) mmorpg's then! if wow is so garbage and just for noobs and scrubs then don't play it! The only reason you would feel the need to bash something that is successful is you feel jealous of it's popularity in someway either you cannot figure out how to pvp/raid properly or your just a fanboy of another mmorpg regardless wow isn't going anywhere not for a LLOOOONNNG time so deal with it! and quit your bitchin.

  • there are two types of mmorpg gamerss... ones that are obsessed with wow and want every game to be like it and the other is the one that hates wow and wants something different every once in a while which would be me.

  • c9 4 ever =D... but its not easy to get a acc...

and the other 4games are bullshit :P

  • @FanOfKnives100 its not that i dont want to learn to play. its just it dosent meet my expectations of a good MMO. the only MMO that i could really get into was guild wars. my label of a good MMO is one that have an very fast paced PVP system. something that WOW could not do for me
