"She sings the hell out of these songs" David. She is a very powerful singer, Bravo.

Exactly. I agree, it was for ATTENTION instead of APPRECIATION. Thanks for articulating this.

There's nothing wrong with shrieking because of APPRECIATION. That's just normal fan behavior
But that girl was shrieking for ATTENTION at importune moments during the song. She got Charice's attention alright.

Why do you have to bring ethnicity/nationality into the discussion? It could be a white chick screaming (or dude ... can't make the assumption). My comment was about one screamer (a human> whether white, black, Filipino).

I agree, there's nothing wrong w/ the shoutouts> adds to the excitement. I've already watched the Feyenoord videos; love them. My complaint is only with a particular fan who delivers the ear-piercing shriek at such inappropriate times (comes out of nowhere it seems). It's just these instances. Of all the live shows I've seen, the May 9 Vegas show and this show are the only ones where a "shoutout" annoyed me. Imagine how annoying and startling if you were sitting in front of this fan.

yeah i see the shouts as appreciation for her, and df. you should see the video where charice sang "youll never walk alone" in feyenoord football stadium with 50,000+ football fans singing along and shouting for her.
It's in poor form for the audience to be shouting while she's performing. It bothers the singer and audience who paid to listen to her. They should wait until she's done. I hope they don't do that in the other concerts. "Please switch off your cellphones and s..."

What a wonderful performance by Charice and David Foster! It is so disappointing to hear some screamers in the audience in the middle of Charice's performance. A sign of a bad viewer etiquette.
