  • PPS: the original type in was called swish, and did not have the music.

    swish+synth sample (the source of these tunes)=swinth, which is the program you are thinking of.

  • @CircleCityEric IIRC, the program you are referring to is called 'Swinth', and was a type-in that appeared in a C64-oriented magazine, perhaps Compute! or Compute!'s Gazette.

  • This performance is a perfect example of the capabilities of the SID. And, this is how I first heard Oxygene 2, albeit accompanying some kind of graphics program. I was very thankful to learn what it was called and that it was a Jean-Michel Jarre composition. It's a neat, little piece.
