that shows u how to take it apart i use skinny thin screw drivers and a needle and bam i got it to work

To everyone that has this problem i had it too, so i looked around watched this video

and did what alybal said and it started working
i used a needle thin flat head screw drivers and my fingers 0_0 it works perfect now really easy too!

try and reset it by hold the power button for 10 sec or where it goes in to the tripod there is a hole put a paper clip in the hole to reset it that should work

pull the battery out, plug it in to the USB turn it on then off again put the battery back in again and you should be good to go. hoping this isn't over stating the obvious at this point . since this was so long ago.

Inside your flip is a little flat cable that links the buttons to the parts they operate eg record,play etc.I think this has come adrift and no signal is being sent from the buttons to the functions they operate.Its a fairly simple job to take the camera apart..you need to be careful but its pretty straight forward.Then you can check that the cable is still in its tiny connector slot.If you want to know how to take it apart let me know..I will take you through it.
