Sonny's love and respect for the American popular culture of his childhood---as well as the world culture that he has experienced through the years--is one of the reasons that he is such a national treasure!!We are so lucky to have him!

The master. Who today has this perspective? And how poignant, about "five guys traveling by car," because of course that's how Clifford Brown and Richie Powell were killed in 1956 while members of Rollins' band.

The London Sessions, Mp3 files of his historic 1965 appearance at Ronnie Scott's are now available for purchase on his site. Eventually, this will be a deluxe 4 CD box set.
