I have never forgotten her , the one & only great Totie ! I remember seeing her on all those shows from the 70's , I was just a kid , but she made me laugh so much !! She was so funny !!!

Oh, she was so brave. Remember when she kept performing after having a leg amputated? And I think she had a bout with cancer, too. She would show up on TV making hilarious hospital jokes - so gutsy.

@garryinnola Isn't it interesting how some entertainers can affect us that way? I wasn't quite as taken with Ms. Fields as you though I enjoyed her comedy, especially when she just sat and dished with Merv or Johnny--I really miss that kind of television. Thanks very much for the info.
