Here is a reference video for the hardstyle two hand kettlebell swing. Important elements of a proper two hand swing include:

1. Neutral spine
2. Heels firmly Planted
3. Lats engaged and shoulders packed
4. Forceful glute contraction and abs are visibly braced at the final portion of the movement
5. Biomechanical Breathing Match ( inhale on eccentric, sharp exhalation on concentric)
6. This is a hinging movement, not a squatting movement! - The posterior chain powers the exercise

The hardstyle two hand kettlebell swing is a phenomenal conditioning exercise for developing explosiveness, while learning also how to reduce and redirect force.

  • @id0stuff I am not a powerlifter but I do squat, bench, and deadlift typically once a week depending on my current training cycle

  • Do you work much on powerlifting moves? I remember you were doing a crazy amount of weight on deads and squats
