They're finally banning Primatene (one of, of not the last epinephrine base product OTC) in the US in December of this year. People are stocking up on it, but the hard reality is that the unavailability of proper healthcare in America, the lack of any affordable asthma medication is going to kill a lot of kids and elderly folks.

@MrHumbleness I'd definitely recommend taking ephedra over caffeine megadosing. Too much caffeine can cause adrenal stress and you'll find yourself feeling tired and finding it harder to lose weight later.

@MrHumbleness You're probably going to only lose weight on ephedra, but not all that much. It definitely decreases your appetite a LOT and gives you a nice burst of energy, but unless you're trying to lose weight, you probably won't notice much difference. It's good to combine with a low-carb diet and exercise and it can definitely enhance those two things greatly.

Do you have any specific tips on germinating and growing ephedra sinica? I'm in Southern California and the weather is pretty temperate. I've tried to my wit's end to germinate and grow this herb from seed, but it's stubborn! I've looked online, but the search results just give me generic seed germination tips. E. sinica seems to be much more temperamental than other commonly grown seeds.
