Dogma is a great movie it had some really good Philosophy like what Selma Heyak said about faith and what Chris rock said about Organized Religion

What is there to "defend"? Is the movie oooh so blasphemous that it needs defending? It's a witty comedy for dog's sake.

theres one simple answer to that:

Take a poll of how many Christians know who Nietzsche is, then take a poll on how many saw "Dogma"

Numbers of substantially different, making Dogma an easier target.

People these days are lazy, ya know

When I first saw Harry Potter and the PHILOSOPHER's Stone, I hoped that Snape wasn't really evil because I thought his long-haired gothic look was vaguely reminiscent of the classically angelic...I had never seen this movie! ;)

the ironic thing about dogma, while very accepting of agnostics and atheists, it still promotes the idea of religion and faith. the good kind when people are accepting and not murdery

@Joeyal123 In many ways I agree with Dogma. The relationship between an individual and God is exactly that! It's between the individual and God.

I haven't seen Dogma yet... i will definitely go and get it though... it's on the "movies i want to see list" along with Bottle Shock, Nobel Son, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and there's at least one more, the name of which escapes me at the time of typing this because i have really really bad Dyspraxia and names are something i'm not too good at remembering
