Lauren Collins writes about Alain Robert, the French Spiderman, who has climbed some of the tallest buildings in the world without the aid of any equipment. In this video, shot on April 15, 2008, Robert is nearing the top of the Four Seasons Hotel in Hong Kong when he gets stuck.

The New Yorker is a weekly magazine with a signature mix of reporting on national and international politics and culture, humor and cartoons, fiction and poetry, and reviews and criticism of books, movies, theatre, classical and popular music, television, art, and fashion.
