The statement "He has rebuked the devourer for our sake....who? the tither" is a reference to Malachi 3
Overall he is saying that the Tithe (which ofcourse is paid to one's own church, NOT to a t.v. teaching ministry like his) is an expression of one's covenant connection to God (I belong to God and all that I have, therefore he receives a portion of all that I receive before anything). My redemption is a consequence of entrance into a covenant.

Yes amen. so be it. as in his blood.we stand together.show them how to fix it. matt 18-19. keep us safe as long salt is still here. amen Jesus name . Yeshua.
He said Jesus redeemed us from the curse, but before that he said it's because we are tithers. Now I am a little confused. I am not against tithing at all, but I don't understand how he is tying those two together in the scriptures he read. In other words, Jesus only redeems if you are a tither?
