Ayatollah Lankarani funeral was held
Today June 18th, marks the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (SA), the noble doughter of the messenger of God, Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH).

This sad occassion became simultaneous with the funeral procession of the jurisprudence authority, Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Mohammad Fazel Lankarani.

Mass crowd of mourners, including seminaries gather in the holy Shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh, in Qom province, on Monday to participate in the funeral procession.

Before burial ceremony, the mourners held ceremony including saying prayer for the Grand Ayatollah Lankarani led by the Jurisprudence Authority, Grand Ayatollah Vahid Khorasani.

The body of the Grand Ayatollah Fazel Lankarani is due to be buried in the courtyard of the shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh later today.

Grand Ayatollah Mohammad Fazel Lankarani passed away on Saturday mourning at the age of 76 due to a serious illness at his home in the holy city of Qom.
