Our Boxer, Lady, playing with the Muscovy duck. Very cute and funny! Please be aware that we do NOT allow our animals to be together without supervision and neither should you. Lady was invited into the goat pen where Duck lives while I raked up old hay and initiated the play with Duck. The goats were out on the pasture. Lady (along with the rest of our dogs) is very well behaved around the animals. This was a one time thing, and when we went to break it up, Lady immediately left Duck alone on our command, it was Duck who continued to chase after Lady! We know he was probably not nearly amused by this as we were, but he got some tasty grubs and was not in the least bit concerned afterward. He even tried to chase Lady off again. Visit our website at http://www.knsfarm.webs.com/ to see our Nigerian Dwarf goats!

NOTE: YES Lady is very skinny. She has an excellent diet which includes special supplements from the vet. She has always been a very skinny dog and will likely always remain thin, despite my best efforts to plump her up!

  • @ninazurita lol spectators...

  • That's a pretty mild mannered muscovy. We had one that wouldn't let the paper boy near our house.

  • Take the polka dance off and let's hear the animals play!!!

  • My springer does this with my Muscovy named Anchovy. He also gets pecked and then he chases the duck until it flies away and he gets yelled at.

  • I love how boxers got such a "spring" to them when the hop!

  • You can tell the dog knows the duck is "part of the family" and only wants to play. Good dog! Had he decided to that duck could have been dinner at anytime, again good dog.

  • my dog is skinny too! LOL

  • I have 2 Muscovy ducks ,male and female, but the female got taken by the fox, the male really hates me but I love him

  • wow. that duck isn't giving any ground! i read the "disclaimer" it's funny how people don't know how nature rolls. where it is survival and people would think you caged those two.....animals will do as their instincts dictate...i have seen a boxer climb a 10' fence! and yah a lot of malnourished animals have the stamina and springiness of that boxer. sad that you have to put a disclaimer on. boxers jus seem like they want to play with everything. love the video
