@zthreescotty The bracket actually still stays on the harness plug. I wasn't able to hold the camera and unplug it at the same time, sorry about that. It's actually a little harder to pop up and you have to wiggle it back at the same time as you pull it up on that clip.

Once you pop up the bracket around the wire harness, how you actually get the bracket off so you can unplug the harness? You edited out that whole part.

I have a special 5 sided allen key left over from my BMW days, if anyone in UK would like it completely free send me a message :)

You can actually just use a small Allen key it take it out. I just removed mine today with one that came with a computer repair kit.

What type of cable to use for aftermarket radio installation with that weird chunky plug???
wyteliz1 2 weeks ago
@wyteliz1 I purchase mine at a local car audio dealer. I just gave them the year, make, and model of the vehicle and they gave me the right plug for it.

Ok, what is the "Other Small Plug" that you refer to? I'm looking for the microphone wire for the stock cellphone that is in many E34s. Is this that?

@rodonkwaj That could possible be the wire for the car phone. Mine does have the stock BMW car phone and I know that the system does somehow work with the stereo speakers also.
