im going to college for nutrition and protein and carbs are essential after weight lifting. protein is more important than carbs but u can't have one and not the other. Steak, chicken, and fish are great sources of protein. rice, vegetables, noodles, yams, sweet potatoes, whole wheat bread are good sources of carbs. hope this helps

only carb and proteins for a post workout? where's the BCAA's? Glutamine? besides thats alot of carbs for a post workout, are you needing energy to go sleep? a good carb intake is during pre-workouts. you guys need more knowledge in dieting.
