I wonder why there weren't more jazz guitarists playing Strats. They could sound just as warm as a Gibson. Tradition, maybe?
-
I wonder that too! He's phenomenal!

@jsilence418 Quentin Warren is a great comper. Wonder what happened to him>

Ultimate taste unlike so many who don't have the real deal Blues foundation.
Playing fast Coltrane changes and pentatonics won't cover it up except in the minds of the ignorant!
-
what a band! the guitarist is beautifully laid back, almost restrained! Thave this favorited, don't watch it enough, thanks again!
-
@skaleewag this drummer is teaching a jazz language master class right there!
-
@evensteve284 couldn't agree more

The drummer has so got Jimmy those two are just rocking. It's amazing to hear those two go at it; especially when you don't hear that kind of drumming so much anymore. Thanks Bob.

@tracehazarrrrd . Hummm...A strat with a wood bridge and near 5 milimeters strings' height.
I will then have to mention top drumming from mr. Billy Hart as well, pure jazz language and swing
