Quality of foriegn Cars compared to American.

I never understood why Americans would buy a foreign car over an American one, when they have so much choice. Because of recent events i now understand why. I'm still sad and a little angry at the big three (mostly GM and Chrysler) but at the same time happy because the system works! Hurray for Capitalism!!

@MaddDogg81 You've been a little brainwashed. Ford, GM, Chrysler operate something like 55 plants in the US, while all foreign companies (Germans, Japanses, Korean combined) have 18. Plus even if they were comparable number wise, assembly is the lowest paid, shortest process of making a car. Parts origin, research and development is the real cost. Not to mention the profits still flow to the headquarters..

most foriegn cars are made in North America like almost all Hondas and Acuras are built here, also Toyota and Nissan too
