Big Block 4 Speed Chevelle Drag Racing Video

Car ran a best of 11.6 at 121 mph, before it all went wrong. Had the mph for a bottom eleven and still didnt have all the bugs worked out. Ran 116mph with 87 degree weather and heavy headwind. 120 mph was calculated for those passes. JUST A STREET CAR

love your car...not so keen on seeing it get beat on but then its yours...and I've never drag raced but Im sure there are some jitters involved here...but looks like your getting your but kicked off the line ..how come?..they got better reation time?

@johncartelli It was just a test and tune, so I was purposely waiting on the tree, I was not racing the guy in the other lane, just waiting till I was ready on the 2 step. Also, i was in a class that ranged from 12.0 to 8.99, so there were plenty of full out race cars lining up against my street car!

Love the car, although I'm a little biased, I've got a '68 myself. At 1:23 it looks like you could benefit from a slightly longer shift lever, easy $40 fix from Hurst. That's an easy 10.80 car with some more suspension work, love it! After Favoriting your videos, I guess I've decided on Silver versus the Black that's been creepin' into my mind. Subscribing......
