A classic MJ masterpiece. Jordan in his prime was beyond electric. The Bucks were in town and the Bulls were battling them for the 5th seed so this was a must win game with a playoff atmosphere.

Enter Michael Jordan. Playing a cool game through quarters 1-3, MJ took over in the 4th with 26 points in a blur for a comeback win at the buzzer. Going for 50pts while shooting a typical 16-26 for 62%, MJ also took in 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals for another stunning, all-around game with a miraculous ending. His usual array of creative drives opened up his mid-range game which then opened up his driving game - as if he needed that.

When the chips were down, MJ's mythical presence once again cast its giant shadow. There is no 6th or 7th gear like Mike's. A most amazing stat was that MJ was shooting 55% for the year this deep into the season for 7th place in the NBA in FG% while scoring 34.2 ppg. And no, that's not a typo.

  • Its almost scary how amazing MJ was. As great as Lebron is, its almost insulting for them to even be compared. MJ is just on a whole other level. Greatest athlete of all-time in my opinion.

  • the best player ever!

  • if there were five michael jordans on one team it be like watching basketball in heaven

  • This is the year Jordan peaked athletically IMO. In 1989 it looked like he was playing with rockets attached to his shoes. His first step explosiveness was incredible.

  • i wish hi was on my team

  • this is so fukin crazy they also win this way...fuckin amazing

  • Beautiful

  • No matter how many time I think I've seen it all from #23, he always amazes me with his unparalleled all-around game. The most COMPLETE player I've seen by far... He literally could do ANYTHING!!

  • crazy shot at 3:08 wow !!

  • @NastyNasIllmatic completely agree. People compare Kobe to MJ all the time and the thing is that they're games are completely different. Kobe has always shot way more 3s and although he does post-up now, he doesn't do it nearly as often as Jordan did at the end of his career. Not to mention Kobe is a career 46% shooter. MJ was over 50% before he played in Washington. MJ knew his game and knew that nobody was going to stop him. Kobe tries to impress people by scoring in difficult ways.

  • @ai002h prime years were 1986 - 1990, before the championships
