I have always been suspicious of the AARP. They were trying to get me to sign up since I turned 30. I wrote back asking if they were that desperate for members. They never responded, but at least they stop sending me their crap.

They are desperate, they have lost over 60,000 members recently. Doesn't take a genius to figure out that they are a front for the health insurance industry. Yet another corporate vampire sucking the blood out of defenseless seniors !

Right on Mr. McCain. I have been fed up with AARP for a long time. They waste so much money by sending me at least 6 stuffed envelopes a month to try and lure me to one insurance program or another. Where does all that money come from? Lobbyists! And they want to bury us early.

AARP has been a left leaning outfit from the start. I joined because I could get more affordable car and house insurance. Now that I see HOW left they lean, I'm moving out and joining the ASA. I go crazy every time I read their magazine and that goofy 'newspaper' they send out.

Same with me. AARP has been sending me junk for years. I finally sent them an email, yes, they used to constantly email me also, and told the socialist bastards to leave me alone. Their snail mail went back with the same message written on the envelope and that has stopped them so far. Hopefully forever!

Umm, he is exactly right. I hate to tell you leftist smear professionals, but AARP stands to gain A LOT if this healthcare bill passes into law. With the cuts to medicare they would gain tons of business for supplemental insurance. So who are the lobbyists Barry said he would not let run our country?
