AFN National Chief Phil Fontaine makes a passionate speech about the desperate situation facing many First Nations communities. "No one should be deprived of an opportunity to make a better life for themselves... We should be given the same opportunities other people expect... The frustration and anger is real - there's despair in our communities. Our young people must be given hope... We need a real and full commitment to a new relationship... Support this radical transformation of Canada - a Canada that can be created through this process that will be the best country in the whole world."

  • in regards to my other comment on part 3. since you can reclaim title now that British Empires rules are gone, its wise to then approach Ottawa to make official modern agreements of economic cooperation. from the position of equal states!...(the tribes must fuse into a new state. this new state will then deal with Canadian state).
