It's a very moving song that must be shown to those that love him.

Tears In Heaven was not written for his son. It was written for the sound track for a movie called "Rush" with Jason Patric, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Greg Allman. The movie came out the same year as Conor died 1991. Clapton wrote the entire film's soundtrack, which is entirely instrumental, except for "Tears in Heaven".
I think it's incredibly brave of Eric Clapton to do a song like that. Amazing what this man went through in his life and how he's been coping with it all. I have so much respect, what a great great man.
Eric Clapton discovered Conor when he died. The day before his death they went to the circus together, first.
Maybe, for someone, is more difficult to prove love that sing about this. Love is rare. The child of which you speak is something intimate. "Fame" is stupid.
If you really focus on the lyrics and the sounds coming from each instrument, this song gets even better
I don't even think of this song mostly about the last day of Connor's life, or for that matter his death, but mostly of Eric's love for him, and how he was never going to give up on raising him.
R.I.P Connor Clapton (You Will Not be Forgotten and You Will be Missed)
This song is touching....I'm a metalhead who enjoys mayhem and gloomy grim, and i think this is really good, Eric Clapton is a great guitarist no matter what people say about him.

I dont think Clapton did that...
Go read his biography then your perspective of the man will change.....regardless of the music...
