  • great techniques but it may not be that much effective for those "well-trained" side headlocker. I kind of wondering what if the side headlocker lock yr head, u try to poke his eye but he grab yr hand and then he swing his body a bit and pin u to the ground? Which mean, he goes a bit aggressive bcos u wanted to poke his eye.

u won`t stand a chance.. I prefer chosonninja technique. If u didn`t get the pic of what i mean, I think it is best to refer to chosoninja.

  • Thank you. I know what you mean, if the attacker is an experienced wrestler, or martial artist, this technique might not be very effective. I think it's best to practice several different techniques, and find ones that work for each person. I prefer ChosonNinja's technique as well, this is just another option. I'll post more videos after Christmas.

  • Thank you Mark for sharing. I encourage you to continue to share! Great Job!

    5 stars.

  • Thanks Angela! Yes, pressure points can be very painful! But sometimes it is better to inflict temporary pain, instead of seriously injuring them.

  • Hey mark. Really liking your vids mate. Heres something to think about. Hes useing both his arms to hold you. You got two arms free. Get the picture mate?:) also we learn the vital point for a reson. The injune (philtrum) and the mok ( neck) are great alternative targets. Remember man, where ever the head goes the body goes. Instead of going between yours and his head like that number 10 hol sin sol, try the farthest side and hook the chin. Pull back and up. Have fun and Tang Soo!

  • @xxstealcurtain. I really suggest you dont critisize. I dont see you teaching. Yes theres a difference between practiceing hol sin

Sols with a partner and real life. But its still a human being grabing you. We as human beings have volunterry and involunterry reflexes. I garentee that if he went for the throat of philtrum you would shy away from the pain. You cant help it.

  • hey mark! good points you made, you might like to try dropping into a horse stance or just getting low enough so that you can do double hammer fists to the groin and the kidney simultaneously. that will set you up nicely for the reach around nose pull. also, you can try putting your hand under the nose and pulling up and back (sort of like you did) but in a way that you are able to swing his head back and around into a guillotine choke. try that out! we do that in kenpo. good job!

  • These are v good, quick ways 2 get sum1 2 release a headlock. If 1 doesn't work quickly go 2 the next!

  • Very unimpressed with both the side headlock and the escape. As an experienced wrestler i throw using the side headlock and there is no way of escaping except for rolling with my momentum which doesnt always work. Nice attempt but learn what you are teaching next time because the only time a few of these techniques might work is for a 3rd grade bully. and steppin on toes makes you look like a huge puss.

  • Orait, just let me know when u does and Merry Xmas to u..

  • Nice thx

  • nice :)
