  • what if i open the big Screw at the top of spring while it in the car ? is that will make the car jump high ? :)

  • As far as taking out the spring/strut assembly, he is "OK" at best. But for the average do-it-yourselfer you are much better off taking the assembly to a shop and paying them a few $ to put it in their strut compressor and R&R the springs/shock.

  • @ChgoSTrider if youre taking out the springs or shocks in the first place youre probably replacing them anyway.....and theres no correct way to do anything on a car really,if you got some car know-how you can machine and stroke and rebuild an entire motor to be performance grade for a fraction if even that of what youd pay for a shop of any sort to do it and give it some "R&R",Id rather not pay two grand in labor and less than half that in parts,metaphorically speaking.
