@howtotutorials101 CINEMA 4D is the easiest to use professional 3D software, with modeling, rendering, painting and animation tools. You can do most things 3D: VFX, motion graphics, product viz, arch. viz, medical animation, print, web.
MAXON products have been used for and in The Golden Compass, Beowulf, the Spider-Man and Pirates of the Caribbean films, FOX, NBC, CBS, ABC, HBO, CNN, BBC, MTV, ESPN, CMT, Comedy Central, TMZ, NFL, HGTV, USA Network, and many others.

OR
You can just model your house in Google Sketcup which is 1000x faster, easier and the result will be better and then you import it in cinema 4d for your animation purposes.

@MaxonC4D Cool, Thanks
@MaxonC4D Will this tutorial work in the latest C4D R12 version?

@EpicHawk Yes, you might see an extra command or so on the various menus in R12 but the tools used are the same.

@19ToMaS20 Please try saving onto the root of your C:\ drive, or in a new folder on your C:\ drive. It might be there is some kind of permissions problem with the file on your desktop., i.e. CINEMA 4D is unable to overwrite the existing file.

i have a question at 7:30 u are talking about welding. when you say there is a way you can do both select and welding, which key do you say is it the "9 key?" because it does not work for me. please if there is another way for easy select and weld like you explain please let me know thank you

@GanjaBeard510 Does this work for you? Make sure you have a polygon object selected in the object manager, make sure the points tool is selected in the left toolbar, then move the cursor inside the perspective view.
Hold down the number '9' key and keep it held down while you drag over some points. This should select the points you drag over.
Holding down '9' activates the Live Selection tool temporarily, as soon as you let go of '9', you revert to the tool you used just before.
