This is how to play Cinders and Smoke by Iron and Wine
Music
Standard YouTube License
2) Yes, each chord begins with a two note pinch, bass and treble. But, the correct bass notes are the root notes for the chords:
Am: the bass note is the A (open 5th string)
F6: the correct root bass note is the F (6th string 1st fret)
Em: the correct root bass note is the open E string (6th string )
You will find that this give a nice alternating bass rhythm , rather than this lone droning 5th string. Beware internet guitar tabs.
Nice job though, almost there.

Thanks for the lesson. Couple of tips in 2 comments:
1) The correct second chord should be an F6 chord, which is 103230.
There is no other way to get the correct root note in your bass for that chord. That fingering gets easier with practice.
2nd comment will be about bass note rythm...
Cover your mouth with your hand
2. Make a wish
3.Close your hand (fist)
4. Hold your hand at heart for 5 seconds
5. Send this to 3 more videos
6. Tommorrow will be the best day ever
it actually worked
Money- you will find a wad of $200 in cash
Love- Your crush or lover will kiss you or ask you out

You pluck the A and the B string together first.
Then pluck the G then the D then the high E
I believe...
Or you could just google Tabs for Cinders and Smoke
