  • Amazing. I actually wait at the menu just for this music to play out before loading a save file. LOVE the vocals on this soundtrack.

  • Just saw the new trailer too, and thought wouldn't it be nice if Lona90 could possibly get the soundtrack to the game. Sure enough :)

  • This almost sounds like the Deus EX: Human Revolution song ... Seriously, the begining is the same. Wtf

  • I must admit, Witcher and Witcher 2 absolutely fantastic music, definately one of the best in my book.

  • @photographerleia All that is to say, that CDP is so steeped in the PC community right now (and they are very in tune with their fan base) that they know the backlash they would incur if they did what you fear. Bethesda offsets their more recent adaptations for consoles by supporting the mod community, distributing extensive tool sets, and providing a classic single-player experience. Bioware ... well they have just ceased to care.

  • @Pepitobenito The difference I see here though, is that Bioware has been openly courting the console crowd for quite a while & Bethesda has made no secret of the fact that the console market makes of most of their sales. CDP, however, is FAR too invested in the PC community to turn the PC version into a port (instead of porting to consoles). Even before the Witcher, the company did Polish localization & distribution of PC titles. Then, of course, you also have its sister company GOG.

  • @photographerleia I doubt it too. Still, Bethesda did it with Skyrim and Bioware did it with Dragon Age 2, and those were two of my most trusted devs (truthfully they still are). It's just an unwarranted concern I can't help but worry about.

  • @Pepitobenito I doubt it. CD Projekt RED has made their stance quite clear (multiple times in fact) that they develop for the PC so that the computer game does not compromise its integrity for the sake of console limitations.

  • @Wanderer628 Assuming it's a success on console, the third game could potentially be developed for 360, meaning it would have more basic graphics and controls, then be ported to PC. Basically just like Skyrim, and being the first ES game that did that, it was extremely obvious and irritating. PC gaming is becoming an afterthought for most developers, sadly.

  • @Pepitobenito Why would it being relesed on the consoles ruin the third chapter? I'm a console guy and I'm going to get witcher 1 on the PC this week and wait for the console version of TW2 to come out.

  • @CrookedSmirk Witcher isnt worthy og game of the year.....its worthy of game of the century..
