Congratulations to Amanda and her romance fantasy book. Women readers are 60-70% of the market. It's harder to sell science fiction in this market and economy. Twilight is in and Harry potter type novels are in.
Publishing companies and agents are looking for non-fiction, romance fantasy and specific fantasy stories. If you haven't noticed yet, hollywood hasn't come out with a new science fiction space trilogy in a while.
I wish her much success.
