Mac OS X 10.6 Keyboard Shortcuts and Tips

Hi guys this is my 1st video ever on youtube, hope u like it :)

1) quick look --- select icon + spacebar

2) screen capture --- shift + 3

3) area capture --- shift + 4

4) window capture --- shift + 4 (then) spacebar

5) force quit --- option + cmd + esc

6) slow minimise animation --- shift + click minimise button

7) slow maximise animation --- shift + click minimised icon

8) slow dashboard animation --- shift + dashboard button (f12)

9) 1/4 vol increments --- shift + option + vol up (or) down

10) instant dictionary --- highlight word + cntrl + cmd + d

11) auto complete word --- type half word + option + esc

12) Zoom in (or) out --- cntrl + scroll in (or) out

13) align icons --- cmd + move icon

14) align icons permanently for a folder --- SEE VIDEO

15) arrange icons in menu-bar --- cmd + move icon

16) apple symbol (while typing) --- shift + option + k

17) widgest on desktop --- drag widget(then)press dashboard key

18) delete widget directly --- hold option + click

19) put (delete) file into thrash --- select file(then)cmd + del

20) empty thrash --- click on desktop(then)shift + cmd + del


EXTRA: Invert Colours --- hold cntrl + option + cmd + 8

I think you are missing the word "Command/Apple" in the Capture descriptions.

ie: 2)SCREEN CAPTURE -> Command+Shift+3
