  • @burtcane Thank you so much!. I am cooking stuffed cabbage today! You can also cook the cabbage rolls in tomato sauce if you like. My family likes them cooked without tomato sauce when I serve the rolls with the yogurt sauce.   • interesting style of cooking. never thought to use sour cream or allspice. I will try.

    I make mashed potatoes with the cabbage rolls. your recipe seems like it has more flavor.

  • @canarsiemarsie Thanks for posting. The sauce prepared for the stuffed cabbage is not sour cream it is yogurt flavored with fresh garlic. It can be served without the yogurt sauce too but then I cook the stuffed cabbage in tomato sauce instead of water for more flavor. Give it a try and don't hesitate to ask any question you may have, I will be glad to answer. Enjoy!

  • I love healthy eating and u just gave me a new recipe which i could tweek a little of my own with the spices but its a great idea. What kinsd of meat did u use?

  • yeah just made it, very nice, i have a romanian girlfriend who was very impressed. for me, maybe a little too much Lemon, was a little sharp for me, but hey this is traditional and how it should taste i guess.
