  • great master technique, I wonder if there are soprano and tenor flutes. beautiful , you touched my soul I see you play higher than others

I would like to pick one bansuri to get out of the sax sometimes

thanks for the music and best regards from buenos ires

  • @danieduber Yes, many sizes of bansuri. All different keys. This flute in this video is one of the larger sizes.

  • wow now I love that haunting sound got to get one who made that one thanks calming wind

  • This is an old flute... maybe 40 years old... from a maker in India who's no longer with us. I get most all of my bansuri from One World Flutes.

  • @cornellk hi, my music theory is bad. I want to get a large bansuri with a sound like that. What size would i need and what key would it be in???

  • @musty911 Hi Musty... I know it's been a while since you posted this question. The bansuri in this video is tonic C# (Indian system) or key of G# (western system of lowest note being the keY0. Yes, a large bansuri that's a handful, but a joy to play.

  • Dude.. you ROCK!! Thanks for posting this beautiful tune!

  • I do like your playing style quite a bit, but might i ask, why do you use the pinky finger of your left hand instead of the ring finger?

My guruji has taught me differently

  • Great Music and such evocative playing. Brilliant!
