Detailed video information below, please read:

DEMONSTRATION: Mesa Boogie Tremoverb SETTINGS:Channel 2 'Modern Hi Gain' setting
ADDITIONAL PEDALS: None
AMP: Mesa Boogie Tremoverb Head
CAB: Mesa Boogie Recto 2x12
GUITAR: Les Paul Seven String
SONG: Random Dream Theater Riffs

Demonstration of Channel Two of my Mesa Boogie Tremoverb Dual Rectifier through a 2x12 Mesa Boogie Recto cab. I am playing a Les Paul seven string straight into the amp, no effects.

I mess about with some random Dream Theater riffs played poorly off the top of my head!

Please note that this video was recorded with the Mesa at relatively low volume as I would like to avoid deafening my neighbours children, so the amp sounds less heavy and brutal as it does at full volume.

Amps settings. Channel Volume 2; Prescence 1; Bass 6; Mid 4; Treble 6; Gain 5. Master volume 2

If you have any questions or if you wish to request a specific demonstration of any of the equipment shown in the video, feel free to contact me through youtube or email me at my bands website at:

  • Somebodies Mommy and Daddy bought there lil boy a whole bunch of toys! yeahhhhhh!

  • Haha I wish. My folks bought me my first 2 guitars a nice acoustic and the sunburst les paul and my first 'decent' amp the Line 6 Flextone II, everything else i bought working two jobs whilst at university

  • you need a PRS

  • I have a PRS. I use a PRS SC245 Singlecut i trans amber as my main guitar, I use it some of my more recent videos

  • Haha listen to the computer chair freud. The idea of showing the rig is to allow people to see what gear I use, they then request specific demonstrations of any of the pedals they see in the video. If you read the video description this explained. No self esteem issues I'm afraid. I think someones jealous to be honest. I worked hard to buy all that stuff whilst studying at university, maybe u should try doing the same and stop being an internet douche

  • Nice distorted tone. It doesn't seem quite as flabby as the usual rectifier tone and more articulate. That overwhelmingly bass oriented tone that turns to mush so easily is what scares me off from Mesa Boogie Rectifiers of any sort, and the Mark series is too expensive for my budget...(unless I get a second job).

  • does the gigrig allow channel/effect switching on the trem-o-verb?

  • Hey man, i was wondering how you liked the tone of the tremoverb compared to the mark V, and roadster amps. Is the tremoverb pretty similar to the rectifier/roadster series?

  • Hey man i just got a Trem-o-verb the other day and was just wondering what kind of tremo is yours is it a 90's model or a reissue? and what tubes to you have in your head?

  • I'm getting annoyed by guys who can work two jobs , dont spend on drugs and drinks and save money for gear. Why !!...At least you have no time for proper practice :D

  • Hey,

I have just bought a 7 string Les Paul and was wondering what pick ups you have in yours?

  • Hey mate sounds awesome. I want this amp.

  • ow shit mother fuck this colection is very amzing i shit pants ^^

  • Great video..

I'm looking for the same guitar U have, but it seems really expensive compared to a regular Epi...1.000$ is way too much!

Can I ask you how much did U pay for that?

    Thx!
