  • Jeff,

at 1:29 does that sticker on the valve cover say Don Garlits? As in Don Garlits, Top Fuel driver?

  • @jraintdead

Yes, they are heads designed by him is my understanding...

  • would be sooo much cooler if it was a true hemi dart.

  • @transamfan81 Yes, in some ways. Would be worth a fortune and could not be driven and enjoyed though...

  • sneak up behind him at a light and shut his car off LMAO

  • @ComradeCrusty

The hemi monsters were built by Hurst.

Being that the hemi darts and cudas were NOT street legal, strickly drag strip 600 horse stripped and acid dipped with fiberglass hood and fenders with super stock drag pack suspension, how do you expect that kind of a car to be luxorious. Rattleing death traps, I think not. Fun, hell yeah. And yes, a late 60's race hemi was recently dyno'd and showed over 600 horse with over 600 ft, of torque

  • what do you mean "period correct scoop for the HEMI dart" ?? The "Hemi Dart" was built in 1968. You couldn't even get a big block in a Dart in `70 !! I know this car is all modded out, but this guy makes it sould like this is some rare factory car.

  • Now that car has balls and it looks nice

  • wow hahaha beautiful car

  • @ComradeCrusty

Built by Hurst, NOT and ambulance company.

  • @transamfan81 a "true hemi dart" was a poorly fitting rattling death trap built by an ambulance company! This '70 is one nice looking, safe and fun to drive, mean machine. Gets me motivated to work on my own projects A+++++
