I can still not believe that having decided to leave three infants alone in a place they knew only from short visits that they would leave the door unlocked. To me that is odd considering the fact that the door would open onto the street and not behind a reception area.

I don't think they intended to kill her, but their actions did - whether by accident or not. Why didn't they just admit it. Carrying on this game earns them a lot of money, the fund pid off their house and first class holidays around the World. In a few years when they make mistakes or forget to lie you will see the truth, Did the police dogs also lie when they indicated where the body had been and how a hire car was used to transport it to the final resting place?
